Personal Profile

I have been involved in the swimming pool business since 1985.  I began my swimming pool building career in Phoenix, Arizona with the largest pool builder in the state, Shasta Pools.  In 1994, I entered into the pool business in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area with one of the largest national pool builders.  Not liking how that company built pools or treated customers, I joined another national builder.  Believe it or not, they were even worse!  

Tired of the area "big boys," I teamed up with a custom builder owned by a former pro football player.  Business there was great and I was very successful there. 

In the summer of 1996, in the height of the pool sales season, I decided to quit and take a four month sabbatical.  During this time, I analyzed all the area pool companies and my investigation led me to high quality custom builder in Richardson, Texas.  After working with that company for five years, I felt it was time to begin my own swimming pool company.  The result of that effort is Catalina Custom Pools. 

I bring many years of industry experience to Catalina Custom Pools, with attention to detail and a driving desire to deliver the best swimming pool that can be built to every one of my customers.
